Activities
The Landings offers a variety of exceptional activities that will keep you as active (or as inactive) as you want to be. Soak up the sun by the beach or pool. Enjoy a rejuvenating treatment at the RockResorts Spa. Tee off at the nearby 18-hole golf course. Discover the magic of the Caribbean Sea on a sailing or scuba diving adventure. Or visit nearby Pigeon Island National Heritage Park, a 44-acre island reserve where you’ll find the ruins of old forts and barracks dating back to the 18th century. At The Landings, the opportunities are endless.

Other Activities
In addition to St. Lucia’s countless beautiful harbors and bays, the island features 19,000 acres of mountainous rainforest and 29 miles of trails, maintained in large part by organizations such as the St. Lucia National Trust and the Department of Forestry.
The rainforest, respected as a superb habitat for approximately 30 species of birds and numerous types of rare plants, is a magical world where elusive Jacquot parrots squawk from the treetops, colorful orchids scent the air and hummingbirds buzz among the palms.
Pigeon Island National Heritage Park
Pigeon Island is a 44-acre hilltop islet located just a few hundred meters up the beach from The Landings. This historically and ecologically significant national heritage park features a fort, officers’ quarters and barracks dating back to the English and French wars of the 18th century.
Rodney Bay
It’s an eight-minute drive to lively Rodney Bay, offering numerous shops, restaurants, bars and cafés.
Hiking
Guests can explore the island’s many nature trails, which wind through majestic rainforests, past spectacular waterfalls, to the tops of dramatic peaks, along remote beaches and more.
Biking
On St. Lucia, there is a bike ride for everyone—from scenic road cycling trips to intermediate nature trails to challenging off-road mountain rides.
Horseback Riding
Horseback riding excursions allow guests to travel through the countryside, along deserted beaches, to Pigeon Point and Fort Rodney, through rainforests and more.
Whale and Turtle Watching
Throughout the year, over 20 species of whale are regularly spotted off the coast of St. Lucia, including humpback whales, pilot whales, sperm whales and spinning and spotted dolphins. In addition, there is an abundance of turtles on the island, thanks to the protection provided by local environmental activists, who have ensured there is a permanent suspension on turtle hunting. Guests can learn more about these fascinating creatures on a whale watching or turtle watching excursion.
All-Terrain Vehicle Riding
Guests can see the wild side of St. Lucia—through the lush countryside, over forested mountaintops, and among banana plantations—on an all-terrain vehicle.
